Did you know that the word “OIKOS” means family or home? 

We opened in February 2016, and wanted this café to be a place that feels like coming home, a place to rest, to be, and to belong. We hope our customers feel warmly welcomed every time they walk through our doors, and that this café would be their third space - a place away from work or home where they can relax with friends, finish off an email, or enjoy a nice cuppa.

OIKOS Café is a not for profit community enterprise run by OIKOS Church. A lot of our workers are volunteers desiring to be a part of something that is giving back to the local community. The idea behind this venture is to bless Erdington with a friendly café atmosphere and available community spaces.
